Throughout the three summer months, Kaleisia will be featuring inspiring prints from local photographers. All photos will be available for purchase and 10% of all sales will be donated to KIVA.

Sample reflections by each artist are shown below to show the range of subjects to be displayed. Please note that not all these photos will be displayed. If you are interested in showcasing at future exhibits, please contact kim@thetealounge.com.

Come alone or with friends, Kim will be preparing tea the traditional Chinese Gongfu Cha style throughout the evening.

This will be your evening to relax, conversate and experience what tea time can do for your body, mind and soul.

TEAS SERVED:

1. Rare Puerh 0085 tea brick from Jing Mai's ancient tea forest.
2. Monkey Picked Oolong, an exceptional Tie Guan Yin from the Anxi, China.
   

With the Gongfu Cha style, you will taste what you've never thought possible. Have you ever tried the Tie Guan Yin on its 13th steeping?

Workshops are small and when we reserve your spot, we are required to turn others away. Therefore fees are nonrefundable but transferrable if cancellation occurs 2 days before event date. If cancellation occurs last minute, there will be no transferrability or refunds.

September 14th is the official "Autumn Festival" for Vietnam, China and Korea. We're joining farmers in these countries to celebrate the bountiful summer harvest and bringing traditions from far away places to Kaleisia.

Louise will explain what astrology is and its historical background. Together you will look at the planetary placement and the unique birth map, explore and discuss how astrology is used as a tool for helping discover one's own potentialities and the psyche of others.

Explanation of relationship charts and electional (event timing) charts will be included. Louise is a professional astrologer with more than 20 years of experience.

Over this past year we've had different people come for the book club meetings however it has been difficult due to work schedules to get a good rhythm going.

We are in search of a few community members to lead the book club. If you are interested or have additional questions, please email Kim.

Book club meetings are a great opportunity to meet new people and share your perspective on a variety of issues.

To increase tea drinking, Kaleisia gives away free tea the last Saturday of each month, During the tea tasting, we'll be offering 10 varieties of tea to sample, and introducing 2 new featured Teas of the Month. Be first to try them before they're gone.

Purchase loose tea or teaware at the tea tasting to receive a 10% discount.

Everyone is welcome! If you're new, come with a pair of knitting needles and a roll of yarn. We'll teach you the rest!
