Celebrate Chinese New Year at Kaleisia Tea Lounge! Join us for lunch on Saturday, January 21st and come hungry! We’ve got a 3 course meal with over 10 traditional items for our guests to feast upon. Traditional pastries will be served with Kaleisia’s Dragonwell tea to commemorate this Year of the Dragon.

Complete lunch is $18 per person.

Seating is extremely limited and an early RSVP is recommended. Refunds and rain checks are not available but transfers are welcomed.

Complimentary Oolong Tasting & Gongfu Cha Demonstration on Saturday, July 30th at 7pm

Join us for tastes of Oolong teas and explore the art of the traditional Gongfu Cha Ceremony. A Kaleisia tea specialist will be on hand to answer questions on proper oolong brewing techniques and demonstrate the use of various Chinese teaware.

Have you ever enjoyed a 4th or 8th steeping of the Nantou Oolong? Ever wonder why gongfu tea pots contains only a few ounces of brewed tea? In addition we’ll be sampling NEW Lychee, Passionfruit and Yuzu flavored oolongs.

The demonstration is 1 hour long and will begin at 7pm. Please comment below if you’re planning on coming by or call 813.977.8266. This helps us better plan seating arrangements.

Live Music Featuring GAT SOUP on Saturday, July 16th at 3pm-6pm

Kaleisia’s joining the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale by hosting one at the lounge on April 23rd.

“Be part of a fun global event that helps people, animals, and the planet.” – WVBS

The bake sale will feature numerous local vegan bakers who will be offering a wide selection of vegan goodies.

A portion of the day’s proceeds will benefit the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at USF.

There will be prizes, free cake, tea, a slide show of the last 6 years, and a photo booth with fun costumes and props.

NCECA “Teaism” Ceramic Exhibit from March 30th to April 2nd

Kaleisia is proud to be an exhibit location for The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts community. From March 30th to April 2nd, there will be ceramic exhibitions throughout the community and we are hosting the “Teaism” exhibit.

The Teaism Exhibition will showcase unique teaware inspired from ancient times to contemporary styles. Each artist brings their personal twist to formal tea mugs, storage jars, pots and all things tea. As a whole, the ware on display tells the story of tea.

Participating artists are: Miguel Brito, Trevor Dunn, Sean Erwin, Adam Fields, Rafael Fonseca, David Kastner, Chuck McGee, Linda McGee, K. Smith, McKenzie Smith and John Tilton.

CHAI: Workshop & Tasting on Friday, February 25th at 6:30pm

Journey through the chai’s history and numerous styles. Together we’ll sip the various spiced drinks and nibble on chai cookies and cakes. Discover new ways to titillate your palate with the dozen recipes you’ll receive to use at home. Workshop space is limited to 10 and rsvp is required.

Knitting Night Every Thursday @ 7pm – 10pm

Starting in June, Knitting Nights will be on THURSDAYS from 7pm until 10pm. Knitters and crocheters of all ages, gender and experience levels are welcome.

Please note that the change from Mondays to Thursdays mean that the group will no longer be meeting on Mondays but will be meeting on Thursdays, EVERY Thursday of each month.
