‘tea names’ & ‘one world’ : ‘one world’ – would change ‘kaleisia’ font or look somehow. 2 cents.

Vote for one world one cup.

I think the design in #3 best represents the idea of tea as a means of community and world-wide appeal..

As someone who has dealt with a lot of marketing and graphic design, I have to be brutally honest.

Design number 1 is nice, and I understand all of the nuances and the concept, but it’s too busy for a shirt. Also, a shirt needs to be able to be eye catching and quickly recognizable. This on quick glance just says “bears”

Design 2 is very generic. I can’t tell you how many different versions of Eat.. Sleep.. shirts and signs I’ve seen.

Design 3, although it may not be, looks like it was designed in MS Word with clipart and Comic Sans font.

The last one is good and gets the name, logo and the addition of the teas makes a nice subtle nuance, but the letters can be realigned… also is it not spelled wrong (Kileisia)?

    Design #2 Eat|Sleep|Sip

The significance of this design has a deep meaning within Kaleisia culture in that it represents the obsessive and compulsive feeling I have towards Kaleisia. I can testify and say that Kaleisia is like my home away from home. The people, the product, and the environment are simply amazing and the feeling I get is best described by this shirt. Anytime I am within a 10 mile radius of Kaleisia I am magically drawn there. Anytime I have friends visiting I take them there. Anytime I meet someone who hasn’t heard of Kaleisia I take them there. Anytime I am stressed and need to relax I go there. There is simply no where else in all of Tampa, that exists such a place like Kaleisia.

Design #2 is not the most original, but of all the shirts I believe Design #2 best describes Kaleisia and if you’ve been there once soon you’ll Eat, Sleep and Sip just like the rest of us.

    Design 1: Family of Bears

This shirt is artistically the most original and its subtlety incorporates Kaleisia into the picture, however it lacks a “punchline” or a focus. It doesn’t grab my attention.

    Design 2 Eat | Sleep | Sip

There is a singularity between this shirt and the great original in that 3 simple words is all that is necessary to describe the awesome place known as Kaleisia. In the original I “heart” TEA was an amazing design that was sooo simple yet perfectly described what Kaleisia was about. The shirt also incorporated the Logo of the Kaleisia Tea Leaf on top of the heart. Kaleisia is Love. Not only love of TEA, but Love of people.

In design 2 three simple words are all that is necessary Eat | Sleep | Sip. There is a linear story here and these three words perfectly explain what life is like post coming to Kaleisia.

The Kaleisia Logo is once again placed over the Heart and the focus of the shirt is this Logo. This keeps in theme of the original. Very important in terms of company branding.

Design 3: One World One Cup

The problem I have with this design is that it has no connection with Kaleisia. The message is good, however too broad and Kaleisia is secondary and barely apparent within this design.

This design would have been perfect if the creator had used the I “heart” TEA mug in place of the generic mug. This would have brought Kaleisia into the main focus of the shirt and also incorporated the Logo.

    Design 4: Tea Names

Theres just too much going on. The broken Kaleisia spelling is a problem and hard to recognize combined with the overlaying makes for a very muddy appearance. Like reading a crossword puzzle, fun for some, but not for others.
Kaleisia is very apparent in this design, however there is no story within this shirt. Although it is the most busy shirt it feels soul-less. I see the name and all the teas, but the best part of Kaleisia is lost; the culture.

Design 2 – Eat sleep sip FTW!

  • David said:

eat, sleep, sip is the best design.

  • Michael said:

less is more to my opinion. that is why i would choose eat sleep sip. i doesnt give me a head ache and i dont have to stare at it to try and figure out what the message is through the pictures.
